Relationship Anarchy Discussions
 
Benzi is a Detroit transplant from Tucson, Arizona who has been practicing non-monogamy for 9 years and strives to create a culture of intimacy through encouraging mutual vulnerability and autonomous relating. She organizes and facilitates one of Metro Detroit Polyamory’s Relationship Anarchy discussion groups. Sociology and relationships are general areas of interest to her, but her research focuses on non-monogamy, relationship anarchy, youth liberation.

Juno is a facilitator for Metro Detroit Polyamory’s discussion group on Relationship Anarchy, and the organizer of a Nonviolent Communication Practice Group. Juno has gone through numerous trainings on sexual consent, recognizing and responding to abuse, as well as workplace organizing as a member of the Industrial Workers of the World. She was a co-facilitator of the Relationship Skills Class for the LGBT community at Affirmations Community Center, as well as a volunteer for Alternatives for Girls’ Street Outreach Program for street-based sex workers. Juno is a strong proponent of individual agency, self-determination, and hedonism.

Lily is really into a contextual understanding of individuals' behaviors. She has learned a lot about how context matters for individuals in her work in behavioral psychology. This has been complemented by her work organizing with Solidarity and Defense where she has learned a lot about the current context of capitalism, patriarchy, and hierarchy. She would love to talk about police and prison abolition as well as relating through prison bars in the meantime. She's queer and has been joyfully non-monogamous for the last six years.
